Terms of Service

Effective Date: January 1, 2026 • Last Updated: October 2026

1. Binding Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you (whether an individual property owner, tenant, commercial facility manager, or designated representative) and Local Plumbing Master ("we," "our," or "us").

By visiting https://localplumbingmaster.com, requesting plumbing service through our website forms, or calling our dispatch phone line at 877-631-0569, you explicitly acknowledge and agree to be bound by all terms, conditions, and disclaimers detailed herein. If you do not accept these Terms in their entirety, you must discontinue use of our site and dispatch services immediately.

2. Nature of Services & Independent Dispatch Network

Local Plumbing Master operates as an independent nationwide plumbing dispatch and coordination platform. Our primary service involves receiving plumbing service inquiries from property owners and matching those requests with qualified, vetted local plumbing contractors and technicians operating within their geographical region.

Field technicians dispatched through our network operate as independent trade professionals who carry their own local licenses, mechanical credentials, and liability coverages as required by municipal and state regulations. We facilitate scheduling, diagnostic intake, preliminary routing, and administrative communication between property owners and the servicing professionals.

3. On-Site Diagnostics, Upfront Estimates & Work Authorization

Accurate plumbing diagnosis requires physical, on-site mechanical inspection. Upon arriving at your property, the dispatched plumbing technician inspects pipe systems, operates diagnostic equipment (such as acoustic leak locators, pressure test gauges, or fiber-optic sewer cameras), and identifies the root source of failure.

  • Diagnostic Service Fee: A standard diagnostic or service call fee may apply for technician travel, on-site troubleshooting, and mechanical assessment. This fee is disclosed prior to technician arrival.
  • Itemized Written Estimate: Prior to initiating any physical repairs, pipe cutting, slab penetration, drain augering, or component replacement, the technician provides an itemized estimate detailing labor, necessary fittings, and equipment fees.
  • Mandatory Authorization: No billable repair work begins without your explicit verbal or written approval. You retain full autonomy to proceed with or decline proposed repair recommendations.

4. Customer Responsibilities & Site Access Requirements

To ensure safe, efficient, and code-compliant plumbing service, customers agree to maintain the following site conditions:

  • Authorized Adult Presence: An adult homeowner, tenant, or authorized representative aged eighteen (18) or older with legal authority to approve work and authorize payment must be physically present throughout the service call.
  • Clear Physical Access: Ensure unobstructed pathways to water meters, main shut-off valves, water heaters, crawl spaces, cleanouts, fixtures, and electrical disconnect panels. Clear stored personal belongings from under sinks and around utility units.
  • Pet & Personnel Safety: Confine domestic animals away from work zones, tools, chemical treatments, and heavy machinery.
  • Hazard Disclosure: Promptly inform dispatch personnel and arriving technicians of known structural hazards, including asbestos insulation, compromised subfloors, active electrical exposure near water, or suspected natural gas leaks.

5. Payment Terms, Rates & Billing Disclosures

Payment in full is due immediately upon satisfactory completion of authorized plumbing services, unless formal commercial credit terms have been arranged in writing prior to dispatch.

  • Accepted Forms of Payment: Dispatched technicians accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), debit cards, and approved electronic funds transfers.
  • Emergency & After-Hours Rates: Services scheduled outside normal business hours, on weekends, or on national holidays may incur adjusted emergency labor rates, which will be communicated prior to dispatch confirmation.
  • Delinquent Accounts: Accounts outstanding past thirty (30) calendar days may be subject to late charges of 1.5% per month (or the maximum allowed by state law) alongside reasonable collection expenses and attorney fees.

6. Workmanship Guarantees & Manufacturer Warranties

Plumbing repairs and installations completed through our network are supported by dual warranty layers:

  • Workmanship Guarantee: Field technicians warrant labor and installation craftsmanship against mechanical defect for a standard period (typically 30 to 90 days on drain cleanings, and up to one year on new piping and fixture installations). The exact warranty duration is itemized on your completed service invoice.
  • Manufacturer Warranties: Equipment and fixtures installed by technicians (including Rheem, Bradford White, A. O. Smith water heaters, Kohler, Moen, Delta fixtures, and InSinkErator disposals) carry manufacturer-backed warranties. Technicians assist in registering equipment, but warranty fulfillment remains subject to manufacturer terms.
  • Warranty Exclusions: Warranties are voided by subsequent third-party tampering, homeowner modifications, foreign objects flushed into drainage systems, catastrophic municipal water pressure surges exceeding eighty (80) PSI without an active pressure regulator, or frozen pipes resulting from unheated premises.

7. Pre-Existing Conditions & Limitation of Liability

Plumbing systems involve pressurized liquids operating within concealed structural enclosures. You understand and acknowledge that aged, deteriorated, or corroded piping systems may suffer collateral failures during standard diagnostic testing or mechanical snaking.

  • Deteriorated & Fragile Piping: Neither Local Plumbing Master nor dispatched technicians are liable for punctures, cracks, or collapsed sections on preexisting cast iron, thin-wall galvanized steel, polybutylene, or clay lateral lines that fail under standard operational cleaning forces.
  • Water Damage Prior to Arrival: We bear no liability for pre-existing water staining, drywall deterioration, subfloor warping, mold proliferation, or personal property destruction resulting from delays in water shut-off prior to technician arrival.
  • Damage Cap: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the cumulative liability of Local Plumbing Master and dispatched service contractors for any claim arising out of a service call is strictly capped at the total amount actually paid by you for the specific service call at issue. Under no circumstances shall either party be liable for consequential, incidental, indirect, or punitive damages.

8. Emergency Telephone Advice Disclaimer

Any emergency advice provided over the telephone by our dispatch team (such as instructions to locate the street water meter, turn off the quarter-turn main valve, or open exterior hose bibbs) is offered as a courtesy water mitigation guideline.

Phone representatives cannot observe physical site hazards. Homeowners must exercise their own prudent judgment before entering flooded basements or manipulating electrical breakers in wet environments. If you suspect structural collapse, active gas leaks, or electrical shorting, evacuate the premises and contact local emergency municipal authorities (such as 911 or the gas utility) before waiting for a plumber.

9. Intellectual Property & Permitted Use

10. Dispute Resolution & Mandatory Arbitration

In the event of any controversy, claim, or dispute arising out of these Terms or services rendered, the parties agree to first pursue good-faith informal negotiations by contacting customer support at 877-631-0569.

If informal discussions do not resolve the dispute within thirty (30) days, the matter shall be resolved exclusively through confidential, binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. You expressly waive any right to initiate, join, or participate as a plaintiff or class member in any class action lawsuit or representative proceeding against Local Plumbing Master.

11. Modifications to Terms & Severability

We reserve the right to amend, update, or replace these Terms of Service at any time. Changes take immediate effect upon being published on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued utilization of our dispatch desk or website following published revisions constitutes full acceptance of the revised Terms.

If any clause or provision of these Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that specific provision shall be severed without invalidating the remaining terms, which shall continue in full force and effect.
